Derby Public Schools Ambassador Program
The Derby School District School Ambassador program!
We are looking for interested parents, alumni, and community volunteers to serve as school ambassadors who will welcome new families to the district and assist them in feeling part of the Derby school family and with being involved in their new school.
This is a one school year commitment.
- must reside in Derby or be a student graduate
- complete training prior to start of ambassador duties
- complete a background check
- sign a confidentiality agreement regarding conversations you may have with parents or guardians or with the schools
- maintain call logs and periodically provide to school administration
