Student Registration

Parents and guardians need to register students new to the school system. Registration is done by appointment on Tuesday, Thursday or Friday from 8:00 to 2:30 at the Central Office. To schedule an appointment, please call Deborah Schmidt at 203-446-3920 or email dschmidt@derbyps.org. You must have all required paperwork completed prior to your scheduled appointment. There is a 24/48 hour processing period. Upon completion of the registration process an appointment can be made at the school for course selection and/or a start date.

Student Registration Forms can be downloaded here or picked up at the Central Office located at 35 Fifth Street, Derby. Please read the Student Registration Process to be sure that you have all required information.

During summer break, additional time will be given for submission of the medical form. However, the medical form MUST be submitted prior to the student's first day of class.
